Chris Harper             The week of June 2-8 Jeremy Armstrong and Chris Harper represented Covington at the annual state forestry camp.  They studied in outdoor classes such as dendrology, wildlife management, compass & pacing, tree measuring, insects and diseases, Bmp's, pine siviculture, and hardwoods siviculture.  However classes were not the only thing they did.  After 4:00 campers were free to play basketball, volleyball, softball, horseshoes, go swimming, or fishing. On Wednesday many campers participated in the Loggers competition which consisted of bow saw, two man saw, log rolling and tug o' war.
